Humanities Department

The Humanities Department believes strongly in the mission to imbue Yusoffians with the strong foundation in the Humanities Craft. A proper grounding in the Humanities Craft will enable the Yusoffian student to succeed in the later part of their life. They will be living examples of the First President student.

Vision: “To imbue in Yusoffians the Humanities Crafts so that they would engage the past through the study of History; understand the present through Social Studies and envision changes for the future through the study of Geography”.

To enable our students to be successful in their humanities program, we run programs such as the Learning support programs, learning journeys, Max out program, Humanities Learning and support packages. These are the few amongst many initiatives to enable our students to be Humanities scholars.

The members of the Humanities team are dedicated to their vision and we spare no effort in upgrading ourselves, sharing resources and planning new initiatives to help our students. We look forward to having the help and support of parents in helping our students embark on the YI Humanities journey.
