Modular Revision Programme (MRP) for 4E/5N: Mathematics
Based on students’ performance at the Midyear Exam / Common Test, a Modular Revision Programme will be conducted during the June holiday on selected Core Topics (6 modules in total) in the ‘O’ Level Examination. Students who scored C and below will select and sign up for Modules which they think they are weak in and would need further revision. It is a consolidation programme which will highlight key concepts and approaches covered in the syllabus and provide practices which focus on past ‘O’ level examination questions.

Bridging Programme for Students Who Have Been Transferred to a More demanding Stream:
Programme aims to bridge the gaps in syllabus between the different streams.
This programme will begin in term 1 week 4 and students in this programme will move on to their respective level/stream’s Learning Support Programme from term 2 onwards.

LSP for Other Levels:
This will begin in term 2 and students will be identified based on their term 1 performance, to help them better prepare for the Mid-Year Examination.
As NT Classes have more Math periods during curriculum time, there is no LSP for these classes. Students are to approach teachers directly for help.

Consultation Programme
Besides the above planned programmes carried out during specified time slots, students are also able to make appointments to see their respective Math Teachers for Consultation after school.
To make it more convenient for upper secondary students, especially those taking the ‘O’ and ‘N’ Level Examinations at the end of the year, to seek consulation help from teachers, teachers teaching graduating classes will take turn to station at the Math SLC from Wednesday to Friday afternoons, beginning term 1 week 5:
In addition, teachers teaching the 4NA classes have a structured consultation programme for the students.

Upcoming Event:
Mathematics Trail will be conducted on this 24 May 2010, Monday, from 8am to 1pm, for all Sec 3 Express, NA and NT students. This is a post-exam activity which involves all Math teachers. Parent letters will be distributed by this week. This Math Trail will be carried out in Changi Airport Terminal 3 (incorporating ColourCode technology) and attendance is compulsory for all Sec3 students.

This wireless learning trail with ColourCode technology enables students to zap the colorcode, with their iphone, at different stations in Changi Airport and gain access trail questions and complete tasks accordingly. Without any usage of booklet or laptop, students would be able to key in their answers and teachers could instantly view the students' results and track their performance in the iphone through real time data.

Hopefully, through this interactive, fast and user-friendly wireless Math Trail could allow our yusoffians to discover and learn Mathematics in a colourful and fun way. Thank you.
